Gowanus Gallery by Larisa was established by Larisa Krasner Foigel, to provide opportunities for artists to exhibit their artwork by a professional gallery.  Located in the heart of the Gowanus Brooklyn, NY art district.  Gowanus Gallery by Larisa occupies the corner of the ground floor glass building 161 on 12th street & 3rd avenue. The gallery is attended by art lovers looking to find and buy original artwork.

STUDIO

 

Gowanus Gallery by Larisa provides full service ceramic and art studio space as it metamorphoses itself into ceramic and art studio.  Accommodating artists of all levels to learn and create their own masterpieces in a relaxed and beautiful space.  Classes are designed to help students develop and advance their skills.  Teachers are professional artists who love to share their enthusiasm and knowledge for ceramic art.  

Ceramic/Pottery Classes

Courses are seven weeks long and meet once a week for three hours.  Our teachers are accomplished ceramic artists who have a passion for sharing their knowledge and skills.  Students learn all techniques to advance their skills in hand building, glazing and wheel throwing.  The cost of a seven week course is $350/person which includes clay tools towels and glazes.  Firing fees are $15/piece (covering bisque and glaze firing).
